GUN126R SR5 Utility Double Cab 4dr Man 6sp 4x4 1000kg 2.8DT Toyota is pretty good at defining a market segment: The Hilux range of utes and cab-chassis workhorses has over the years been the default choice of a good many tradies. The hardy, seemingly unbreakable range of single-cab, four-seat "Extra" cab and five-seat double-cab utes and cab-chassis variants covers just about all bases. 4x4 and 4x2 drivelines are offered along with three four-cylinder engines: the most commonly-used being a torquey 150kW/420Nm 2.8-litre turbo-diesel that sits above a 110kW/400Nm 2.4-litre turbo-diesel and a 122kW/245Nm 2.7-litre petrol. Gearboxes are either five or six-speed manual, or a six-speed auto. The seven-airbag HiLux range achieves a five-star ANCAP safety rating.
Anti Lock Brakes
ABS brakes automatically sense when a tire has stopped rotating under extreme braking, and will modulate the brake pressure to allow the tire to rotate.This increases the vehicles ability to turn while braking.
Stability Control
Stability control automatically senses when the vehicles handling limits have been exceeded and reduces engine power and/or applies select brakes to help prevent the driver from losing control of the vehicle.

Security System
The vehicle is equipped with a means of anticipating and/or detecting unwanted vehicle intrusion. The vehicle is equipped with an ignition disable device that will prevent the engine from starting if the correct original manufacturer key is not used.
