Description
MXPB10R GX Wagon 5dr CVT 10sp 2WD 1.5i Toyota's smallest SUV, the compact Yaris Cross, competes with Mazda's CX-3, Hyundai's Venue and Volkswagen's T-Cross and offers nine variants, conventional petrol or hybrid engines and the choice of front-drive or AWD. Model grades include GX, GXL and Urban. The base engine is an 88kW/145Nm 1.5-litre three-cylinder driving through a CVT transmission while AWD hybrid versions use a third electric motor to drive the rear wheels. Safety verges on cutting-edge with Toyota's new-generation Pre-Collision System with daytime intersection assistance and emergency steering assist over and above standard autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. A marginally bigger, higher-riding body means a slightly more spacious interior than the donor Yaris hatch.
Anti Lock Brakes
ABS brakes automatically sense when a tire has stopped rotating under extreme braking, and will modulate the brake pressure to allow the tire to rotate.This increases the vehicles ability to turn while braking.
Stability Control
Stability control automatically senses when the vehicles handling limits have been exceeded and reduces engine power and/or applies select brakes to help prevent the driver from losing control of the vehicle.
