NPW MY20 Cannon-X Utility Dual Cab 4dr Spts Auto 8sp 4x4 1050kg 2.0DT Now re-badged GWM, the Chinese auto brand formerly known as Great Wall offers a range of workhorse utes that issue a challenge to the existing Ford Ranger/Toyota HiLux/Mitsubishi Triton/Isuzu Ute D-Max hierarchy. No longer distinguished by their fundamentally basic nature and low safety ratings, the range include the base Cannon, mid-range Cannon-L and top-spec Cannon-X. The GWM Cannon range massively undercuts the top-selling utes. a 129kW/400Nm 2.0-litre turbo-diesel drives through an eight-speed auto gearbox to full-time dual-range 4WD. Safety aids include autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist and rear cross-traffic alert. Five ANCAP safety stars are reportedly in the offing, while the seven-year unlimited-kilometre warranty is reassuring.
Anti Lock Brakes
ABS brakes automatically sense when a tire has stopped rotating under extreme braking, and will modulate the brake pressure to allow the tire to rotate.This increases the vehicles ability to turn while braking.
Stability Control
Stability control automatically senses when the vehicles handling limits have been exceeded and reduces engine power and/or applies select brakes to help prevent the driver from losing control of the vehicle.
Front Impact Airbags

Anti-whiplash head restraints actively react to rear collision forces and craddle the occupants head in an effort to reduce the likelihood of a whiplash injury.
Security System
The vehicle is equipped with a means of anticipating and/or detecting unwanted vehicle intrusion. The vehicle is equipped with an ignition disable device that will prevent the engine from starting if the correct original manufacturer key is not used.
